Milwaukee tools has been releasing so many awesome tools these past
years. I for one dont mind letting you know what team red is doing. if
your anything like Me your always looking for a great storage solution.
well Milwaukee's new tool box might be your answer. its deeper its got
space for more power tools and they are built rugged!!!!!!
When comparing to their competitors on their Tier they out shine the competition. and by tier i mean professional standard.
Introducing
the new 46 inch tool box. its features are power strips on both upper
and lower units and deeper and longer drawers to fit today's technicians
power tool storage needs. With two Usbs on each power strip to charge
cell phones and headlamps ETC. a huge number of tools are going
rechargeable with a micro USB so its something to strongly consider as a
addition to your tool box.
The 46” High Capacity Steel Storage Combo is engineered with
thicker gauge steel and constructed with a reinforced angle iron frame,
6” industrial casters, and edge protectors on all sides . The work station’s 18 drawers include 100lb soft close
slides, two bottom drawers with moveable dividers, and a total weight
capacity of 2500 lbs. These drawers are also deeper than the company’s
other steel storage options, with a peak depth of 22” for additional
storage capacity.
The Storage Combo features a power tool organizer to keep tools
upright, a built-in power center for instant access to power
With
that being said i love the upper box configuration. power tools are not
going away and storing some under the upper lid is a viable option
competitors really don't offer this feature and for us at the shop its a
fantastic feature. Along with the lower drawers its for tons of storage
space. ITS AVAILABLE DECEMBER 2017
Model Number: 48-22-8546
MSRP: $999
Availability: December 2017

Get your tools organized - sockets
Obviously Organization is a beautiful thing. Sockets are the main thing we reach for as a Mechanic tool trade. so of course i have many of them.
Keeping them organized means less time in your repair and looking for the right tool when needed. I have moved my home shop to another garage. and there has been some downsizing. but a quick blurb was using these harbor freight organizer sockets to redo the top drawer of the tool box to make it easier to find and put away the most common tool i use.
i think this can be done cheaply and does not need to cost you 80 dollars or more to organize. harbor freight has pretty good deals when it comes down to organizing solutions of sockets and i tried these out to see how well they fit together and i truly like the main result
Some other choices on budget but a little more expensive are these ( i use or have used) im not going to recommend crap that i wouldn't use myself
Ernst Manufacturing 8450 Socket Boss 3-Rail Universal Twist Lock Socket Tray, Multi-Drive, 19-Inch, Red
http://amzn.to/2iBpJiK
i love the twist and lock feature of these makes sure they dont wiggle loose Great for tool carts
Hansen socket tray 6 piece set
http://amzn.to/2jmQxo1
this is a very common set you see with people that use tools one of the best selling on the market.
love them but the deep well stems tend to get broken easily on the 1/4 inch set

The Silverado Vids
ok so i have a gmc sierra but the trucks are very similar and i posted awhile ago i believe in December that i would be doing videos around the gmc sierra 1500 platform and they have started and a bit more delayed then id hope but there on the way and first one up is the battery replacement and its very simple and can save you money with one of the most basic of jobs . usually a 25 dollar charge is what you pay on top of the battery already.
so here is the video for that one
To check your charging system with a simple multimeter you can find out how to do that here
always be safe just know what your doing a well some aftermarket autostarts and remote starters will activate when exposed to a sudden charge

best impact driver
The Best Impact Driver To Use
In a lot of my youtube channel videos i use an impact driver to remove splash shields and skid plates but these have so many more uses in the automotive field and its hard spending money on all of them to know what is the best bang for the buck. Ive used several different brands when it comes to the 12 volt and 18 volt models. but for durability and ease of use and a relatively fast charge time for the light batteries. the model i have in particular is the dcf85S2 it is a 12 volt model and has a 1/4 inch quick connect chuck that fits screw bits and any other bit that goes in i use a 1/4 in socket connection that fits in. i use this impact for taking apart intake manifolds, light engine work and interior panel removal and such its honestly and easily one of the most used tools in my collection and i dont know how i did things without it. in my flat rate situation it has increased my productivity by far and it was worth the expense and i now have two one for home and one for work
this is a youtube video showing the particular model of the impact driver dcf815s2
but they have many different models of impact drivers if you have a need for more power
