so this post is about some content that is going to be coming up on my channel. this engine is really bad mouthed in the automotive world as a engine riddled with problems. many of these issues come from improper maintenance. i joetheautoguy feel that this is really an easy problem to overcome and be very reliable.
although there is probably very much controversy in my upcoming videos i believe i have given some great information to novice people working on these dime a dozen engines in many of general motors cars and vans and also has a wide spread parts availability with auto parts stores and many in the junk yard.
many issues with this engine is overheating after the installation of intake gaskets from people not bleeding the coolant system properly and thinking there is a much more severe problem.
i also have a video coming about an injector misfire that ended up being a relative small problem but still shows how to go about checking injectors
so as far as currently i have a checking resistance injector video and a plugs and wires videos. so more uploads are on the way but i hope to enlighten people that these issues are minor and very easy to repair if needed.
