today was a very sad day . I am all about fixing cars and to see one die just hits me hard. i really feel the pain in the wallet for my customers and its difficult for me to just see something not worth fixing.
today i had a lumina that i had worked on in the spun a cam bearing and lost oil pressure and is barley running , if i would even call it that.
This car ran a long time with coolant in the oil due to the intake gaskets leaking, i actually replaced head gaskets and did a total top end job and it was just that fact that water got to the bearings and finally called its last leg 8 month after the repair. just unfortunate timing. like i said sad day for people involved. Sometimes i just cant help but feel for the engine, it was a strong runner and probably had a lot of life left if the car wasn't neglected
well that is all just a little update and might have a 3.1 liter swap in the future
