Looking to sell your car here are 6 things to do

1.) CLEAN WINDOWS

Clean windows including inside and outside give big presence to your vehicle . studies show that people subconsciously associate window cleanliness with total quality auto care

here is a video showing extra steps  https://youtu.be/ZZDaJ544tMg

2.) CLEAN WHEELS

even scratched wheels can look ok on a vehicle but darkened and nasty brake dust stained rims are an eye sore and can look like poor maintenance. If possible clean your wheels with an appropriate wheel cleaner and a good scrub to make that appeal pop for the vehicle.

3.) TIRE SHINE

Obviously tire tread is important but often people assume shiny tires are good tires and can often be a real improvement just by applying tire shine to the tires
This is my trusted friend for tire shine http://amzn.to/2mgAtlG
4.) CLEAN THE CARPET AND SEATS

This is some thing that I see many people overlook when selling a car. Give the floors a quality cleaning use a brush and really scrub the dirt loose before you vacuum it out.  Even though you may be tired of looking at it and that’s why your selling it a good quality vacuum can make a big difference to someone looking at it.

5.) ENGINE BAY CLEAN UP

You don’t have to go crazy in this area but make sure its not full of leaves and use a light degreaser on plastics and such. You can take it to the local carwash or your own home tools to really clean it but that’s at your own risk as cars vary for me to honestly say  “yeah it’s safe to blast water in this engine bay”  gives the potential buyer a sense that you actually cared for car maintenance

6.) MAKE SURE ALL THE LIGHTS WORK

headlights turn signals etc. nothing seems more off putting then a car that doesn’t function but I have seen peoples mood change drastically over just a little running light not working. Then they nitpick everything, which before they spend any money they have that right but I like to keep the sales conversation to a friendly and satisfying experience for the buyer  a 7 dollar light is an easy expense for that experience

doing all these things will definitely net you a better selling experience and rewarding vehicle sale

homemade car lifts

So ive been researching on how to wire up a garage. (im no electrician) so in all that im looking into the future of getting a lift and i want to run 220v wiring just for that. so in all that ive been needing quicker ways to do oil changes just as many of my customers have been coming to me more and more for that. along with other repairs but i use a floor jack and also have ramps but mine are built to lift trucks up higher.
so i have some ideas to make a rotating lift that you drive on and it rolls up flat and safely lifts it up higher for oil changes and inspections , again many ideas flowing around in my head so i decided to hit the net and see what people have come up with so i found this one and was wondering what people think
