bleeding a gm power steering pump

I posted a new video on replacing the gm powersteering pump on a 3.4 liter equipped grand am. in this procedure there are many steps but the last is bleeding the pump. I have seen many issues in this process.
The main point im getting at is improper bleeding and or leaks cause the pump to whine and be annoying and or premature failure. The way i show in this new video im putting out is how i bled the system and made the pump succesfully installed. Gm has a new procedure that i have heard is much more effective. although ive never seen it done. i will link my video and AC delco's video in this blog to show both ways to help you.
now there are some things to be aware of and that a whiny pump means air in the system and could be a rack and pinion failure. any opening or leak is a potential for air to be sucked in the system. With that being said you have to make sure there are no leaks if your going after a noisy pump. i hope my videos are helpful and i will be doing a video on this new bleeding procedure soon as i have acquired some new tools . Best of luck all and keep those rides going and the money in your pocket!!!!!!!
